Woher kommst du?
Aus dem schönen Tübingen. Ein heimeliges Nest, um dort aufzuwachsen. Aber nach der Schule hat die große weite Welt gerufen. Ich bin erst einmal für ein halbes Jahr nach New York gegangen, um dort Musik zu machen.

Wie würdest du deinen Musikstil beschreiben?
Eine klare Stimme vertanzt sich zärtlich zum Klavier.

Gibt es einen Schlüsselmoment für dich, wo dir klar wurde: Ich werde Musikerin?
Seit ich klein bin, spiele ich Musik. Nach dem Schulabschluss war es der natürliche Weg für mich, damit weiter zu machen und es auf ein professionelles Level zu bringen. Ein oft nicht leichter Weg, auf dem man sich viel mit seinen eigenen Ängsten auseinandersetzen muss. Ich denke, das wird immer ein Teil meiner kreativen Reise bleiben.

Wovon handelt deine Musik hauptsächlich?
Ich erzähle vom Fliegen und Verlorengehen. Mich interessieren das Absurde und die Zwischenmenschlichkeiten, die lauten und leisen Töne, die scheinbaren Gegensätze des Lebens.

Welche Musik berührt dich?
Musik, die mich zum Träumen bringt, und das geht genrefrei. Cineastische Musik spricht mich oft an sowie ruhige Singer-Songwriter-Musik mit Texten, die die Vielschichtigkeit und Ambivalenz des Lebens poetisch zu benennen wissen

Wie soll es in Zukunft weiter gehen?
Ich möchte weiterhin selbstständig und vor allem frei meine Musik spielen. Neben dem Piano experimentiere ich aktuell mit einer Loopstation, um damit Songs zu entwickeln, die komplett nur aus Stimme und Gesang bestehen. Außerdem gehe ich dieses Jahr mit dem Pantomimen Silent Rocco im Rahmen einer musikalischen Straßenshow – “The Greatest Thing” – auf Festivaltour durch Europa.

Where are you from?
From the beautiful Tübingen. A cosy nest to grow up, but after school the big wide world was there to be discovered, so I went for about 6 month to New York to make music.

How would you describe your style of music?
A clear voice dancing tenderly with the piano.

Is there a key moment for you, where you realised: I want to become a musician?
Since I was a child, I play music. After I finished school, it felt quite natural to continue with that and to bring it onto a professional level. Often this is not an easy path, many times you have to deal with your own fears. I think, this will always be a part of my creative journey.

What is your music mainly about?
I talk about flying and getting lost. I am interested in the absurd and inter-human relations, the loud and the quiet tones, the apparent opposites of life.

What kind of music moves you?
Music that makes me dream and that is possible in all genres. Film music appeals to me quite often as well as gentle Singer-Songwriter with lyrics, that can designate the complexity and the ambivalence of life in a poetic way.

What does the future hold?
I would like to play my music independently and above all free. Next to the piano, I experimentalise with a loop-station at the moment, to develop songs with it, that consist of voice and vocals only. Furthermore, I will be on a festival tour through Europe this year, together with the pantomime Silent Rocco and our musical street performance – “The Greatest Thing”.
