Ihre Musik jedoch klingt viel reifer, als ihr Alter vermuten lässt: Sie erinnert an Woodstock, Hippies, Syd Barrett und Neil Young. Mit ihrem Album “Inner Child”, das im Rahmen eines Schulprojektes entstand, feierten sie bereits kleine Erfolge in ihrer Heimat – sie traten unter anderem beim Swiss Psych Fest 2014 auf, dem Ableger des berüchtigten Austin Psych Fest. Auf dem Fever Creek Festival am 30. August werden sie ihren ersten Deutschland-Gig spielen. Erfahrt mehr in unserem Porträt samt Hörbeispielen.

Many people don’t expect that. Romain, Elie, Léonard and Augustin from the Swiss band Magic & Naked are just 18 years old. However, their music sounds a lot more mature than her age suggests. It reminds the listener of Woodstock, Hippies, Syd Barrett and Neil Young. With the album “Inner Child”, which was created as part of a school project, the friends already celebrated small successes in their home. Among others they performed at the Swiss Psych Festival in May 2014, the offshoot of the infamous Austin Psych Fest. At the Fever Creek Festival the musicians will have their first German gig. In Westeuropa kennen sie sich bestens aus, hat doch alles mit Straßenmusik angefangen. Mittlerweile sind Harmen Ridderbos (Sänger/Gitarre), Heta Salkolahti (Sängerin/Violine) und Sietse Ros (Schlagzeug) mit ihrem Indie Folk gefragte Musiker. Town Of Saints – third act at Fever Creek Intermezzo – is a bustling band: The three members have their home in Groningen, the Netherlands, but are never really home that often. In Western Europe they know their way around very well - after all the group started with street music. Meanwhile, Harmen Ridderbos (singer/guitar), Heta Salkolahti (singer/violin) and Sietse Ros (drums) are sought after Indie Folk musicians.
